Well, we just had a fantastic showing at the the San Diego County Fair, helping to celebrate their 75th Anniversary!
We were located in the San Diego Pavilion and had wine tastings throughout the day. Many friends came by and said hello and enjoyed San Diego’s most southern producer of fabulous wine! Cool ocean breezes and a beautiful shady pavilion to sip the Gloriosa under, added to our afternoon. We look forward to seeing you there next year…The San Diego County Fair… 75 years and still going strong!
Mert is still in New Mexico. He drove the Gloriosa Vineyards water truck to Tucson, Arizona and then onto Rodeo, New Mexico to help with the wildfires. The fires crossed over into New Mexico last week and Mert was there! He drove the truck and sprayed down the newly cut firebreaks as they were being created by the firefighters.
The Sangiovesi is growing like crazy and we can see new fruit everywhere; Cabernet, Syrah, Zinfandel and the Sangiovesi. Looks like it’s going to be a bumper crop this Fall.
See you in the Vines!
